Wedding day makeup colors?

I am meeting with a couple makeup artists next week to start figuring out who to use for my makeup on my wedding day. I have no idea what I like (don't usually wear makeup) or what to suggest to them. I have red hair and very light skin. I know I want something more natural and not dramatically dark (no overly dark lashes or red lipstick) because it just makes me look sick. I'm thinking more of a light pink for lips and lighter eyeshadow and blush? What do you think and what colors would you suggest for different things? Thanks!Wedding day makeup colors?
FOR THE EYES:Natural tones; gray, nude, light brown, sage green, or tan. Jewel tones; emerald shimmery eye shadow, blue ( Sapphire), perhaps some metallic tones, silver, gold or bronze.

FOR THE LIPS AND CHEEKS: Try light roses in various shades.

I am not a make up person but when I do wear it I wear Bare Minerals, my favorite eye shadow is Nude Beach, it's a lose powder that you apply with a artist brush, it's really light but adds just enough shimmer. Also Burt's Bees makes a fantastic lip gloss, and tinted chap-stick in various shades of rose and browns and pinks. You can find their products at Target.

Hope that helps!

God Bless!Wedding day makeup colors?
Try a pink gloss, and nothing too dark on the eyes. Oh, and be sure to use brown mascara instead of black. It will look much better with your coloring, especially if your eyelashes are naturally light.
Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below
Use a light natural tone yo nothing too heavy or loud...
I think a peachy rose blush would look great on you and a shimmery pinky-peach lipstick would be good also. For eyeshadow maybe a golden brown something with a little bit of gold...not too much. You want to be glowing on your wedding day!
i think it looks pretty when the face is all a nudish color and the eyes are dark.

check out the movie: ';the wedding date'; and look at the scene were the sister is getting married, they show a close-up on her face and how her make-up is.
I think that on your wedding day your make up should enhance your natural beauty.

You don't want to walk down the aisle wearing hideous colours just keep it natural and glow!

Neutral coloured gloss for your lips make them look bigger, highlighting lotion on you cheeks instantly makes your face light up and subtle colours on your eyes will make them pop!

I would start with a tinted moisturiser, a little bronzer on the areas of the face that the sun would kiss naturally i.e. forehead nose cheeks, natural colours on the eyes and highlighting lotion just to add that extra sparkle - benefits high beam is excellent for this.

Discuss the ';natural look'; with the make up artist on your visit.

Good luck and all the best for your big day.
Well,I don't really know but You should ask your make up artist!!! they probably have alot of experience on what makeup colors go on what people!! But dont be afraid to experiment with differnt shades. Go for an original look!!!! : )
I think that for your eyes, a gold or shimmery lavender color will look gorgeous. For lips, stick with a light pink and clear lip gloss. Also, a little bit of light pink blush will look amazing.

Good luck =)
Something natural.
You cant go wrong with soft earthtoned eyeshadows. Use a light off-white shade to highlight the browboneee and perhaps a taupee or peach on the lid. Blend well! Stay away from frosted eyeshadows. Use a black, waterproof mascara on the top lashes, and a waterproof pencil to line the top lid. Try navy, charcoal, or dark brown for lininggg.

for blush Pink or Rose Blush Tones and Nude Pink Blush or for a more dramatic look use Coral or Tan Blush Tones
Whatever you end up choosing gettin done on your wedding day, it should be something you feel comfortable wearing.
i think u should go with a pinkish color with some shine for ur lip color and a pinky color or bronze color for eyeshadow. also i suggest not to use to much blush cuz then ur face will look too flushed.
Hi, I actually read these really good articles about wedding makeup tips, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

A light, shimmery purple for your lids, it'll make your eyes pop and just a touch of brown mascara, light pinks cheeks and a pink lip would great.

I have red hair(right now) and very fair skin and a pink cheek makes a world of difference!
pinks and browns go really good with light skin tones
If you don't normally wear make up to begin with, I would definitely suggest going for a natural look. If your wedding is an evening event, why not do something a little bit smoky for your eyes with nude lips? It's classic and very pretty without being overly drastic (you don't want to shock the groom!). If it's an afternoon/daytime affair, go for something light and airy that will make your eyes really shine and bring out the color.

Good luck and congratulations!
I think go with something soft and natural, and waterproof makeup... never red lipstick. Make sure it is kissable too or your hubby will wear the same shade... Congrats
