Traveling and a wedding..what kinds of makeup&hair?

Im going to California, and while Im there, I will be attending a wedding. You see, I dont know what I should do with my hair on the wedding day. (theres 2 days for it, one is a wedding, and then the after partyish thing the next day) So, should I bring my straightener and curling iron? What are some cute things i can do with my hair, that wont bulk up my luggage?

Also, what sorts of makeup?

It would be amazing if you could give me a detailed and serious answer (:

Thanks!Traveling and a wedding..what kinds of makeup%26amp;hair?
It all depends on if its a beach wedding.

for a beach wedding, so can slightly curl it and put it half-up-half-down. tease it up in the middle to look sortof poofy but smooth. or you could go more sophisticated and put it all up in a ponytail. curl the ponytail and clip it up so your hair spills over it and looks amazing. there are little twist in things that have little flowers on them at claires. twist those through your hair at any points you would like. but, if you wish not to buy those, put a thin, metal headband on. but you could just not put anything on to be more simple.

for an indoor wedding, leave your hair down and curly. or you could put your hair into a low ponytail and curl it or leave it straight, however you wish. and if you are planning to put flowers in your hair, apply hairspray BEFORE you put the flowers in. hairspray can wilt the flowers.

now time for makeup. for a beach wedding, colors that are beautiful to wear are orange, red, and off white or white. makeup colors that are the most flattering to wear are warm. (i.e. bronze, orange, peach.) for foundation, just put it on like normally. then, for your eyes, put on a neutral, tawny, sand, or beige eyeshadow. then, if you want to make a statement, use a darker shade. apply to the lash line to the crease of your eye. don't use bright colors on the beach. big mistake. if youre pretty sure you will tear up, wear waterproof mascara. if you wish, you can put on eyeliner. but not too much. dont wear blue, purple, pink, or green. brown, soft black, and tan are really great colors. why not normal black? jet-black can look too harsh, especially for blondes. for lips, dont wear colors that are brownish because they can look flat in photos. the most flattering are all other colors you might like. dont wear too-bright red. i think the best color is burgundy. it gives some definition to your face and hilightes your cheekbones.

for indoor weddings, everything is practically the same from the beach. but, you can wear more daring colors like blue or pink. or green. but not yellow. it can wash you out. and don't wear glossy lipstick because the lights can reflect off of your lips in picutres. but it's okay at the beach. but one thing you need to know: NEVER WEAR TOO MUCH MAKEUP. make it look natural because that beauty can shine through. hope this advice helps; sorry it was kindof long.

have fun at california!!!Traveling and a wedding..what kinds of makeup%26amp;hair?
I think you should bring your straightener. I would take a few pieces of hair in the front and brush it over your part. Then take a cute barret(like a one with diamonds in it) and place it towards the back of your head. So it should look like you have no part, straight hair, and a cute barret holding the hair in place. For makeup, it depends on your dress. I would wear silver or gold eyeshadow, depending on the color. If the dress is purple, blue, green, or red, go with silver eyeshadow. If the dress is pink, orange, yellow, white, black, or brown, go with gold. For lips, go with a light pink lipgloss. Maybe wear matching earrings and a necklace/bracelet to complete the look. Good luck!!!!!!
