Wedding makeup?

Hey I have my cousins's wedding next Saturday


and I don't know which make up to choose...


I'm 12 -will be 13 this summer July :P- so and I wanna look kind of punk... but my mom


has something against black eye shadow 卢卢 I'll try to


convince her ayways...


My dress is like a sleeveless black shirt and the skirt is short and white.

sadly the links arent working for me, but punk does not have to be black eyeshadow, thats more goth (which is related to punk tho)





but why not do a long flick of black eyeliner, then pile on the colour!!!


i sometime use black eyeliner on the top lid, but purple on the bottom which looks cool.

punk is a striking look so blusher shouldn't be too blended, but i would test the look first.

There are two colors a woman should never wear to a wedding (but for teens it's okay)... and these are black and white- you don't want to look like you're going to a funeral, but you don't want to take attention away from the bride either. However, because you are almost teenage, a little black is great! Have fun with it- but not too much fun. ;)


Black eyeshadow can be cute- it'll really help you rock out to your punk look. But if you're already wearing something black, black eyeshadow is going to enhance the funeral look. And you wouldn't want to do that at your cousin's wedding!! ;)





Punk is a cute, fun look- but I wouldn't recommend it for a wedding. (But don't worry, you don't have to look like a flower girl, either). But play up your youth a little!





I can tell you like dramatic looks. So try a lipstick (with gloss over it to brighten things up), blush, and even (remember keep this AND the blush especially subtle) eyeshadow in a maroon-ish color. (Try something like Benefit's Rush hour.. I'm posting a link @ the bottom). As an added bonus, this will complement your skin tone and edgy hair look. Without being too edgy for a wedding.





Don't overdo eyeliner! Eyeliner all the way around- especially liquid- is an overrated look! Instead, opt for a softer, brown pencil on the tops and halfway across your bottom lids (Starting at outer corners).





Have a great time at the wedding!! Use a little bronzer, too! :)
Personally, black eyeshadow is VERY tacky at a wedding.





You are 12 years old. You should be letting your natural beauty and youth shine through. All you really need is some mascara, a little blush and a light application of a light lipstick. You don't need to wear makeup like you are in some pick up joint and you are 25 and looking to score. This is a wedding....have some respect!
To answer your question. Don't use black eyeshadow. If you still want to use the ';punk'; look...use silvers and greys. Black looks tacky.





I would either use the silver look or go for a color that is completely different from your outfit but still adds definition. Like purple!





Eyeshadow = purple


lipgloss = nothing with color. clear or lip-plumping


eyeliner = black


powder = any shade that matches your face.

Try some fake lashes there really cool i wear mine every day! don't do black eye shadow, do like dark purple or dark navy it will keep you cool with your mom. Then just regular powder lala your skin color. to please your lady like cousin wear a little blush and pink lip gloss you will look really good with this whole look. :) good luck your going to kick as at that wedding just be composed lol
